The National Literacy and Awareness Secretariat (NLAS) welcomes you to its “PNG Literacy and NFE website”. The website is designed to provide information on adult literacy providers and programs and is a rich source of information for all interested in adult literacy in PNG. The website provide information on the role National Literacy and Awareness Secretariat is playing in coordinating literacy programs through the country in partnership of NGO, CBO and FBO organizations, National Literacy Policy and challenges and initiatives being taken to promote adult literacy in the country.
